Bill - Bulldog

In October 2005, after returning from Iraq, I earned my private pilot license.  Then, in February 2006 I bought a Scottish Aviation Bulldog from an individual in San Francisco.

In order to meet insurance requirements, a Flight Instructor and I flew the plane from San Francisco, California to Augusta Georgia...in two days.

PierceAllen and I flew to Sun-n-Fun in Lakeland Florida in April, 2006.  I flew solo from Statesboro, Georgia to Medina, Ohio in late July 2006.

I flew more than one hundred hours in N9179C (the tail number) until August 2006.  En-route from Oshkosh Wisconsin to Nezperce Idaho, Sabrina and I suffered a nose gear collapse resulting in extensive damage to the plane.  Neither of us were injured but, we didn’t make it to Nezperce and the plane was a complete loss.
